Site Preparation: Survey installation sites to determine cable routing paths, identify potential obstacles, and plan the most efficient and aesthetically pleasing cable runs. Coordinate with clients and building management regarding access and any necessary permits.
Cable Installation: Run Cat6/Cat6A cabling through various environments including drop ceilings, walls, conduit, and outdoor enclosures. Maintain proper cable handling techniques to preserve performance characteristics and prevent damage.
Termination & Testing: Terminate cables to patch panels, keystone jacks, and RJ45 connectors following TIA/EIA standards. Use professional testing equipment to certify all cable runs, documenting test results for client records.
Rack & Cabinet Work: Install network racks, wall-mount cabinets, and organize patch panels. Create clean, professional cable management using appropriate cable managers, velcro ties, and labeling systems.

Quality Standards: Maintain the highest standards of workmanship with attention to cable bend radius, separation from electrical interference, and professional appearance. Your work should look as good as it performs.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot cabling issues including signal degradation, crosstalk, and connectivity problems. Use professional diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
This position is perfect for detail-oriented professionals who take pride in creating clean, reliable infrastructure that will serve clients for years to come.
